…hash It out

Posted on the 31 January 2015 by Zer @the2women

We’re just about a day out from this year’s Super Bowl, and I have just one question. What happened to the mystery? We’ve seen so many of the commercials already and heard so much about the halftime show, that I’m almost looking forward to the game itself, there’s still a chance it could be exciting. Of course after last year’s blood bath, anything would be exciting.

In other, more unpredictable, Super Bowl Sunday news, Chicago and much of the Midwest, are awaiting a potentially significant amount of snow during the big game. Anyone else feel like the weather forecasts have gotten really hesitant since the misfire in New York last week?

I don’t mean to complain, but approaching winter storm Linus, could be our last chance (please let it be our last chance, bring on the early spring). So, to avoid the catastrophe that would be a winter without a unique weather hashtag, I’d like to propose the following suggestions for the Super Bowl Sunday storm:

  • #SuperSundaySnowDown: I think this one speaks for itself.
  • #WheresMyBlueBlanket: Simultaneously a nod to the storm’s namesake, Linus, and Mel Brooks’ “The Producers”. Plus, who doesn’t need their blue blanket during a snow storm?

Okay, have at them Internet, and come back tomorrow, for one of the few surprises left in your Super Bowl Sunday—2WC reveals who we’re each cheering for in the big game!
