Apologies to all the horse racing fans out there, for skipping over the Preakness. It’s been a busy spring at 2WC, and well, sometimes things fall through the cracks.
However, to make up for it. I thought I’d do a pre-race preview for the Belmont Stakes. Yes, racing aficionados, it’s not until next Saturday, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start getting excited this week.
But first, a quick recap of the past two Triple Crown races–I’ll Have Another wins (x2)!
If there was ever a year to feign interest in the Belmont Stakes, this is it. After all, it’s not every year that there’s still a Triple Crown contender in the running.
For those of you not in the racing loop, it’s been 34 years since the last Triple Crown winner, and this year’s dark horse–I’ll Have Another–seems as likely as any past contenders to take the crown.
So, there you have it, with one week to go consider yourself officially caught up and pumped up on this year’s exciting, final Triple Crown race.
