He told me he was getting married,And I don’t know what to do,
Should I sing, should I act?
I really don’t know how to react.
We had a fling, a long time ago,
But for me, the flames were still burning,
Now I just had another rejection,
From a man who never understood me.
At first I felt like crying,
And screaming my head out,
But the pain was slightly boring,
I recovered faster than I could predict.
I had promised to attend his wedding,
See his bride walk the aisle,
I will clap and I will sing,
Everything should be normal by then.
He told me he was getting married,
And I know it was the best thing to have happened,
Now I am free to love and cherish someone,
Who is worthy enough for me.
