Anyway, I just wanted to pop on and put up a quick update.
Indigo is as cheeky as ever, and now has 2 bottom teeth and is using them to bite down on everything that she can get her mouth around. The novelty of teeth is amazing. She has also learned to stand up and is well on her way to learning how to walk. I think she has decided to just skip the crawling phase and just get straight to the running around. I am thinking that at the rate she's going it won't be long before I am getting chased round the house.
River is as cheeky as ever, and still has no teeth but has had a fair bit of teething (especially during the wee hours of the night). He has learned how to crawl backwards...I am sure it won't be long before he goes forwards and he can nearly sit up all by himself. He has also stepped up exploring his voice and can now make a range of noises and voices. My favorite is when he says Mumma in his best growly monster voice. That is pure class.
They both got weighed a couple of weeks ago and are around the 17lb mark which though small for their age (they are still in size 3-6 month clothes and they will be a year old next month) they are still on track in terms of development. Which I am very pleased about.
Their cute smiles and laughter is still the best sound in the world to me. I have found that I can't really remember clearly anymore what it felt like before I was a mommy. Weird!
