The room currently looks like this except for the pool table is now up in the big empty space plus the beam is stained and the labor is done including carpet replaced, and the wall is all patched up. So we are ready to decorate! [I promise I will get more pictures this weekend]
We have tons of options, and I think we can make the space look really classy, a little vintage and definitely awesome. The ultimate goal is to have a hang out spot when we have our parties for the UFC fights, Superbowl and for all the other randoms. I love entertaining and want the space to draw people and keep them downstairs. That's why I need help. I need it to be physically appealing, but also logical.We wanted to get a rug under the pool table we were thinking about this one so we would have a wide color scheme:
Other than that we are overwhelmed with so many ideas. So I turned to pinterest and started searching the world wide web. Here are my favorite "inspiration pieces" What do you guys think will work? What should I do!?
I love the lighting above the poster in this "movie room".
I really would love to have a tavern look downstairs, a little dark with him lighting and dark furniture. I picked this photo, because of the pool table. I love the light about it, and how it looks classier than just thrown in there. Does that make sense?
The curtains are so dramatic, and I love it! I think that we could do something dramatic like this about of doors leading out of the basement.
So my question is what would you do with all our newly opened space? What things would you add to the room to pull it together?
