Her piercing gaze struck him
Her eyes transfixed
As if they were mad
Melancholia surrounded her
Her body shivering
and her clothes wet
And her teeth clenched
Just about to wither away
breaking her soul
and sending her into emotional turmoil
Bit somehow, it was far-fetched
She felt meek
But she had the courage
Or so it seemed
She didn’t expect any help
She was ready to fight out the cold
However long the night seemed that day
His patience subsided
And he accumulated courage to speak to her
He gave her something to eat and offered tea
He took a gulp
Her teeth still clattering
But the sun was in sight now
She told him her story
How she lost and yet
She didn’t choose to beg
For help
She was there
To sort out her mind
She needed nothing
But her mental peace
And sometime alone
By herself
To pick herself,
Just where she let off
And go back being the same warrior
He once appeared to be
He let out a sigh,
In relief
Why don’t they make more of her?
He wondered,
as she let him be
in peace
And he stood there,
Silent and in awe
Of how powerful a woman can be..
