Hi, I'm Sara...

Posted on the 15 June 2011 by Saratpierce
Since I've been a total blog LOSER lately I decided I needed a little assistance to help me get back into the daily posting swing of things SO, I'm turning to my oh-so-favorite fallback, the blog prompt. This one is compliments of Neely over at Complete Waste of Make-up {who in-turn got the idea from another blogger friend!} and it's a Blog Meet & Greet!
For those faithful few who haven't removed me from your GoogleReader, I welcome you to take a few moments and learn a little about me and my blog then, continue the trend and tell the rest of the blogosphere about YOU and YOURS!
Hi, I'm Sara...

Introduce yourself and your blog.   When did you start blogging?  Why did you start blogging? What do you love about blogging? I'm Sara and welcome to Life in these times... my blog baby! I kind of fell into blogging as I was applying to a job that I would later get back in December 2009. I had to submit a writing sample of a blog post and since I didn't have a single blog post to my name I decided to use the one that I created to apply for the job as the start to my blogging career. I didn't exactly TAKE OFF as a pro blogger until later in 2010, so Life in these times... was very scarce and very very sad {much like now... puh}. My initial idea to continue blogging was based off of the fact that I had moved out of Va and away from basically ALL of my friends and family. I thought a blog would be the perfect way to keep everyone updated and in-the-loop with my often crazy, sometimes chaotic, always fun life in GA. The job that I had applied for {and got} had me blogging more than my fingers could handle so it became really tough to keep up with my own writing. Eventually things changed a bit at work and I started to really use Life in these times... as a creative outlet rather than just an informational platform. Things really started to take off and I was loving every minute of it. Now, with a brand NEW job in my pocket, my schedule is a little thrown off and I've found it once again difficult to sit down and bust out my daily posts but I'm determined to change that.I love that blogging allows me to be expressive and goofy and 100% myself. I've also really loved the friendships that I have formed based on my writing alone. We're all a little bit crazy, a fact I take great pride in, but it's still comforting to see those comments of encouragement attached to a post describing a terrible shopping experience or rant about the "stupid people" of the world. I've been a little lost with out my daily outlet so I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things!
