I remember briefly reading a paragraph in a pregnancy book about the importance of kegel exercises during my first pregnancy...

And that was it.

That was the entire extent of the information I received them, or the damage that child bearing could do to my pelvic floor without them.

They were never mentioned to me by any Dr or midwife, and so they slipped right out of my mind. I naively assumed that if they were that important, somebody would have mentioned them to me...right?

Wrong!
