I Need a Break From Vacation

I Need a Break From Vacation
I think today is my first completely chill day i've had in my vacation so far. "Chill" in that i stayed in, finally, but my mind was completely lost in the matrix most of the day (pictured above) as i was trying to figure out how to sync every last bit of facebook, twitter, google+, and this blog all together into a one stop shop. See when i was up and down Bourbon St starting my vacation last week with Hector, Javier, Deedra and Sarah, we got into tons of adventures. I mean that. (We literally got into over 2000 lbs worth of adventures) Everything from purses being stolen to hanging out in an actual dungeon with a headbanging indian doctor examining Javier's bleeding forehead to partying with a cajun cop named Tucker and i haven't even mentioned the craps tables yet. Seriously. It was an epic trip. So much so that it's probably gonna be impossible for me to remember everything for "el blog". And when you're out and about having a blast like that there is zero chance of "hey guys, let me sit and blog this out really quick.." and to be honest I wasn't about to get off that ride and sit down for a stinkin blog. So this is where the last few entries of testing mobile blogging came into play. I figure if i could've just snapped a quick video or pic in real time and sent it off in an email to be published here instead of having to make time now to write it all out half-forgetting bits and pieces it'd be easier and probably a little more inclusive. That's when my sweet friend T to the Bizee opened my eyes.
"You should join twitter. It's really easy to send photos and short updates through your phone, and you can reach a larger audience that way. Also, it will drive traffic to your blog!"
Much easier. I figure Twitter will just be a mirror of my Facebook and with this new handy dandy twitter feed i went and put up (see over there in the right margin, up at the top above the "About Me"?) now i won't lose the bits and pieces of the day that get lost in the shuffle. Granted, that ticker will also show bits and pieces of conversations i'm having which will be impossible to figure since the ticker will only hold my half of the convo, but the point is it'll be able to link to pics and video that's been posted. And those are the bits and pieces of the day that i won't have to write about. So basically if i'm walking down the strip in Vegas and an adventure happens right in front of me like me walking into a club filled with white light and some dude wearing a gasmask steps in front of me from the future and says "dude i'm you from the future, let's party", i can just snap a quick pic, tweet it, travel through time with myself, have adventures, and bam it's right here in a real time update instead of me having to find time later to blog about it.

What's that "fm" over his shoulder stand for, you ask? It stands for projectFM. Yeah. Don't worry about it. I'll get to that at a later date. And as I think about it I guess that example of running into the time traveling gas mask wearing future version of me isn't really a good example to use since we're talking about lack of time and i wouldn't have that problem if i could bend space and time, right? Anyhoo, that's the plan and i like it. (The tweeting not the time traveling)
(Yeeeaaahhh, I've been plugged into the matrix way too long today)
I would've just used facebook status ticker instead of twitter, but facebook doesn't have one like that one up above. I wish i had thought of this (or had TB give me this idea) before i left for New Orleans cuz then the majority of my pictures and videos would have already been right there in that there ticker to be followed while they were happening and i'd actually be able to reference it and not forget a thing. That being said, i think i took enough pics to remember the good parts. Aaaaaaaand i'll be working on putting that along with all the other vacation adventures together soon enough. God i've been off forever. I need a break from vacation. It's a good problem to have.
