I Wanna Know... {Week 17}

I cannot believe that this series has been going on for over four months. This will be the final week in the series for awhile. I still plan to post these as questions come up from bloggers, but it probably won't be every Tuesday.

I Wanna Know... {Week 17}

Rebecca

Question #1: When is the best time of day to post posts?

Hi Rebecca! I currently post anywhere from 1-3 posts per day. I know that I will be cutting back to a maximum of one post a day (maybe even 3-4 posts per week) once the baby comes. Because of this, I will be picking what time of day to post that single post. I honestly get tons of response to my posts, regardless of when I post them. There are days when my 8am EST post gets less comments than my 5pm EST post. With bloggers using Bloglovin' and other readers, they read our blogs when THEY have free time. So honestly, I don't think the time matters. For me, I will probably stick to posting in the morning. This gives me a chance to respond to emails and comments as they trickle in throughout the day. That's just my personal preference.

Question #2: Why did you start blogging and what is one of your favorite blog posts that you have ever written?

Hey Amanda! I started this blog because I was bored, living in the middle of nowhere, and I wanted to keep in touch with my family and friends. This blog has morphed into so many different things since then. It became a place for me to meet friends, find out more about myself, vent and so much more...Your question has resulted in me writing another whole post that will go up later today (: As far as a favorite post of mine, I have a ton. I love my heartfelt ones the most...However, a fun post from the past is my Birthday Funfetti Pancakes. I just made them up for Ryan's birthday and now they are a favorite in our house (:

Question #3: If you could be stationed at any of the Army bases, where would it be and why?

Hello Brittany! Honestly, I am looking forward to the day in the near future when we will be out of the Army. While the Army is a great job for Ryan and does have a lot of great benefits, the military lifestyle has really worn on us as a couple and is really hard to deal with. Just yesterday, Ryan was told he will have to leave me for 6 weeks straight to go out into the field for a training event...in California. Now I know this is 1,000 better than being deployed back to Afghanistan, but by the time he leaves I will be 6 months pregnant. He will also be missing our 1 year anniversary and 4th of July. I am concerned that if there is an emergency, it will be hard for him to come back here. It's just really inconvenient. The thing is, this is everyday life in the Army. Our other friends who are out here are also expecting their first baby. Her husband has been out in the field for the past 3 months. He will also be deployed in October, weeks after their baby is born. All this to say, I really don't want to get re-stationed again lol. We are hoping the next time we move that it will be back to the southeast. We have had the chance to live many places, and I am telling you, you can't beat the REAL South. Our top choices: Tennessee, North Caroline or Georgia (: It's close to our families, still gets seasons, but doesn't have 8 months of winter.
