If I Would Succeed Wildly…

Posted on the 27 July 2012 by Simplystephanieblog @StephanieKonar

On Wednesday, I wrote a post that posed the question, “What would you do today if you knew you would succeed wildly?” I thoroughly enjoyed reading your responses and wanted to conclude the week with mine.

If I Would Succeed Wildly…I would start by finally sitting down and writing my first book, sans breaking for work, having to go to sleep for work, etc. Upon its completion (and multiple publishing offers that I would obviously get), I would pack a suitcase and travel the globe. Since writing is a passion of mine, I would enjoy travel writing along my way. There is another aspect to my travels that I would want to highlight as well; that which we typically do not see.

Although being able to visit the touristy areas and see famous sights can be tremendously fun, I feel that also visiting the less than fortunate areas is as equally important. Yes, I think that by seeing the bad we undoubtedly have more appreciation for the good, but I also feel that it is important to be knowledgable about those who have to live in such conditions.

When my global expeditions conclude and my quest to understand humans across all continents is satisfied, I would return home to start the next chapter of my life. In said chapter, I foresee a petting zoo and lots of goats. As some of you may know, goats are my favorite animal. I have wanted one for quite some time… in addition to every other animal that I have encountered. When I watched the movie, “We Bought a Zoo,” I felt like I was watching my destiny.

If I Would Succeed Wildly…

Perhaps when I get those twenty seconds of insane courage that Benjamin Mee spoke of…

Happy Weekend,

Stephanie
