…Inflate

Posted on the 25 June 2015 by Zer @the2women

whole foodsWhole Foods devotees, I have some bad news. Whole Foods has been overcharging you for years.

Whole Foods haters and skeptics, I have some good news. You were totally right about Whole Foods being overpriced. It turns out, they most likely planned it that way.

New York City’s Department of Consumer Affairs, is conducting an investigation of the grocer’s pricing practices, and the verdict so far is not good. If we’re being completely honest, it’s also not surprising.
Which begs the question, why is this happening now? And why grocery stores? It should be noted, that this investigation was not aimed solely at Whole Foods, but at a whole slew of NYC grocery stores (they were just the biggest offenders).

Why not focus some of this investigative energy towards something more obvious, like cable companies?

Okay, sure there’s the argument that fairly priced groceries are a basic and universal need, but fairly priced cable and Internet packages are important too.
