lady goo goo gaga logoWelcome Lady Goo Goo Gaga - we’re happy to have you as a guest blogger for Inside the Blogger’s Studio! This series is a way to get to know other bloggers, while also getting a glimpse into the life of a fellow parent. Who doesn’t love feeling like they aren’t the only ones going crazy?

There are some bloggers you fall in love with just from their name. Lady Goo Goo Gaga was one of those. Luckily, her name is just the start of her funny stuff.  She recently posted a hilarious take on Oprah’s favorite things with her own list. She also wrote an awesome post around Thanksgiving of all the things she’s NOT thankful for – seriously, my kind of girl. With that, let’s get to the questions!

If you had to sum up your blog in two sentences, what would you say?

My blog is where I share my stories of parenthood in today’s world, which I often find absurd. My view is often sarcastic, negative and narcissistic, but isn’t that what blogging is for??

What thing did you do today as a parent you wish you could take back and do over?

When my 5 year old told me that he loves to lay on my boobs because they are like pillows, I laughed instead of telling him that it is inappropriate to talk about or touch your mother’s boobs.

What thing did you do today that you are happiest about?

I watched the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

What is your least favorite activity to do with your children?

Take them to playdates or birthday parties with children or parents that I find wretched and unbearable.

What is your most favorite activity to do with your children?

I love doing outdoor activities with them, going to the beach, taking a walk or even going to a park, basically all activities where waves, traffic or wind can drown out their incessant whining and fighting

When your child drives you absolutely crazy and you want to scream a curse word, which word do you wish you could say?

Shut the f@ck up….That’s actually four words – but they form together beautifully to get across an important message.

What’s your favorite lie you have ever told your child?

Hmm, it’s hard to pick just one…there’s quite a few to choose from. I guess it would be that people who don’t take swimming lessons are not allowed at pools or beaches.

At what moment did you realize that you really were grown up?

When I tried to book the church to marry Mr. Gaga at the ripe age of 19.
