One of the benefits of being a wedding photographer is that I get to see the creativity of many other people through the way they've styled and designed their wedding themes and decor. Of course, that also means I can share these with you and hopefully provide you with lots and lots of inspiration for your own wedding theme!
I'm a firm believer that your wedding style should echo your own personal style, and for this reason, the decor at this particular wedding at Hornsbury Mill in Somerset really resonated with me; it's probably very similar to the way I'd have my own wedding reception dressed if I were doing it all over again! This beautiful, fresh white styling perfectly echoes the lovely setting in the Orangery, picking up the white of the building's decor and the lush greens outside in the gardens. It's a real 'bring the outside inside' look which just works perfectly.
But of course at a wedding, it's a great time to add a bit of additional bling - and the wedding couple certainly did so in style with the addition of fabulous crystal to the tables and gorgeous fairy lights in green bottles! I love fairy lights (you should see my garden, for the trees are strung with them all year round) and for me, this elegant hint of sparkle sets off the green and white decor perfectly.
As you can see, the chairs were finished with soft dove grey bows in the lightest of fabrics - and the table centres were finished to perfection with the most elegant of white tulip centrepieces.
