As evidenced by super giant amount of Instagram pictures from this weekend, you will see that I was super duper busy and running around like a crazy person. But it was an excellent weekend, especially since it started on Thursday.
So here we go...this Instagram Recap. :)
1) Superbly delicious dinner out with Office Boy to celebrate our one monthaversary.2) Cold stone for dessert. Yummm.
3) Thursday night was the midnight premiere of The Hunger Games and I might've geeked out a bit. This is the shirt I wore.4) My ticket. I was so excited. I have never been to a midnight premiere before.5) Me with the boys. (It took like 4 tries to take this picture because the chick taking it was kind of incompetent when it came to an iPhone.)
6&7) I needed to get some headshots done for the purposes of a website and all that jazz, so bestie and I went out and took bunches. Here's a little sneak peak.
7) Because the Easter pageant opens this coming weekend and I am a natural blonde and would not have been blonde if I was of Jewish descent living in the Middle East in the 1st century...we had to dye my hair.8) The Cousin It before and after. Bestie's hair turned out a bit more purple than we expected...9) My before and after. A bit more red than it was on the box, but it's all good. :)
10) So it turns out that while you can swap baking powder for baking soda in chocolate chip cookie dough...it doesn't work so well when you swap pancake mix for flour. >.>11) Easter pageant first dress. Costumes, makeup, dyed hair and all.
11) Office Boy and I had a conversation about ducks and how I have a stuffed one and I really wanted to imprint one when I was younger, and so he saw this and got it for me. :)12) Saturday night out. Office Boy, bestie and I went to go see the Washington Choral Society perform with the National Symphony Orchestra. It was pretty fantabulous. And the soprano soloist's dress was awesome.
13) Sunday afternoon lunch at Ruby Tuesday. Yay for yummy burgers.14) Hair dyeing attempt #2. It looked too red under the lights after the first attempt, so we had to add another box of dye. (I realize in this picture they look superrr similar, but it actually is darker.)
15) The full transformation. Blonde to auburn to slightly darker auburn. :P
Hope you all enjoyed this weekend's recap. Next week will either be nonexistent or full of lots of backstage pictures because I will essentially be living at the church because of the pageant. Hooray!
