Apple sues Samsung for its uniformly rounded corners, the front surface having a 'screen' (where did they even get that idea??) , colourful square icons with uniformly rounded corners(again), one – finger scroll and so on. I'd say uniformly rounded corners is more of a safety measure, because with sharp edged corners the phone might turn into a destructive weapon especially when its put in your pockets. (:O) And a 1 billion dollar verdict? Are they even out of their minds? The product list of Apple are iPads, iPhones, keyboards, displays, iMacs, Macbooks, iPods and a few more stuff. Whereas samsung has not only these but also, washing machines, TV's(3D,LCD,LED) , refrigerators, air conditioners, cameras and so on. Hence to make up for the 1 billion, they'll just need to sell an extra batch of refrigerators and washing machines.
And looking at the customers point of view, however expensive, beautiful and delicious an apple gets, if he wants a pear, he'll eat the pear.
