It's Been One Year.

Posted on the 02 December 2011 by Whatsgoingoninleeannesmind @Mommalynyrd
It's been one year.
One year since I got to hear your voice.
One year since I got to look into your eyes.
One year since I got to hear your laugh.
One year since I got to share your company.
One year since I got to tell you I loved you before we hung up the phone.
Even after one year the pain is no less.
Your smile, your laughter and your friendship can never be replaced.
The hole left in my heart when you left this earth is no smaller.
It's been one year since the angels came and took you from us all down here,
One year since your beautiful wife got to kiss you. One year since your two beautiful children got to hug their Dad. One year.
One year seems like such a long time, but it feels like only yesterday.
It was just yesterday that we ate the buy one get one Sushi.
It was just yesterday that we celebrated your birthday.
It was just yesterday we laughed to "The Bed Intruder" song.
It was just yesterday that we sang the Moto Moto song.
It was just yesterday that you held my newborn daughter.
It was just yesterday that you married your bride.
It was just yesterday we shared a coffee on our porch.
It was just yesterday we partyied all night long.
But yesterday is gone. And my friend so are you.
The days gone by don't make it easier, and still I cry everyday as the memories that I hold onto continue to play.
I know you are still here , someway, somehow.
I see your smile in the sun. I hear your laughter in the wind. I feel your love every time I wear your shirt.
Forever I will love you, and hold your memories close to my heart.
One day I will see you again my friend.
Have my cup of coffee ready, two sugars and heavy cream.
When I get home we have a lot to catch up on.
I love you Michael, my brother, my cousin, my other husband. My best friend.
On December 3rd 2010, a wonderful man, my best friend, Michael was taken away suddenly by a cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 30.
Michael left behind many people who loved him including his wife and two children.
He will forever be missed.

And if by chance your reading this, and you know who you are, I just want you to know that not one day goes by that I don't think of and pray for you too. I will love you always too.
It's been One Year.
