With Jobria and Josh’s Palm Beach wedding, there was a lot of Southern hospitality that was brought to Southern Florida. This Atlanta couple first got to know each other on vacations to Josh’s grandfather’s summer house, where Jobria would attend with her best friend, Ashley, who was Josh’s cousin. Summers spent by the pool and the beach at the Breakers Hotel, it was under a sweet gazebo in Josh’s grandfather’s backyard that he and Jobria had their first kiss. Time took them apart in true “The Notebook” fashion, but their love was so strong that it ultimately brought them back together as now husband and wife.
But while the wedding was the main highlight of the weekend, it truly felt a weekend long family reunion. Just as gracious as Jobria and Josh have been from the moment we met them at their engagement session on his grandfather’s farm in Atlanta, their whole family welcomed Stephen and I to join them for a baseball themed rehearsal day full of wiffle ball, cornhole, BBQ, splash diving, and even a kissing booth in the same location that they had their 1st kiss. It’s always so fun to not only be someone’s wedding photographers, but make great friends in the process!
