I head over to his laptop and low and behold.......... THE SCREEN OF DEATH! You know, the one when your domain isn't routed correctly. HOWEVER, my domain was routed correctly because he was working properly for the previous week and a half!

"Ugh! I'll have to see what's up." after I tinkered a bit with his laptop and found out it wasn't HIS operator error, my DOMAIN HAD POOFED! Up in Smoke! Just like that!I go back to my "she-cave" and tinker a bit. I can't figure out what the hell is wrong! It's almost 8 pm and I don't feel like dicking around with Google or Blogger support. So I removed the custom domain and revert back the blogspot.com one. No biggy for now YET I'm pissed off and already on my self-host site creating a new Wordpress blog! :) (Yes, I used this one fubar with my domain to push me into creating a new wp blog!)
Boy, then I remember how much work these wordpress ones are. I'm up til 9 pm and decide, it's time to go to bed. Prior to that, I had unscheduled all of my previously scheduled blogger posts. I had to reconfigure Disqus to the old domain and sync the comments again!
What a PAIN IN THE ASS! Ugh.........so Tuesday a.m. (while at work ... hehe) I go back and reset my custom domain on blogger and low and behold................it's working again. WHAT THE FARK?!?!? Seriously? It's bad enough I was having an emotional crisis (due to my Aunt Flo visiting) and now the domain just POOF!! UP IN FREAKIN SMOKE!!
Needless to say, I published Tuesday's post and rescheduled the previously scheduled, than unscheduled, then rescheduled posts I had! :) Shew!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I ask you..............have you ever had this happen with a domain? It totally freaked me out! I now have another domain (pibblesnme.com) that I used for my wordpress set up. I may direct it here, I may not. Now, I'm domain skeered! :)
