This Sunday I'm wishing happy trails to a St. Louis institution - The Muny.
Today marks the end of a season that was a century in the making. For generations of St. Louisan's summer has meant nights spent under the stars watching pure, theatrical, musical magic on The Muny stage.
Sometimes it rains. Often it's hotter and muggier than you could imagine. Believe it or not, that's part of its charm.
It's a tradition that has created the kind of community that I think you can appreciate no matter where you're from.
I'll admit, I could gush about The Muny for days, but I know it's Sunday and you have things to do (or not do). Or as they say in the theater - the show must go on. So, I'll wrap this up.
To those who make the Muny what it is, thanks for the magic and memories. We can't wait to see what comes next.
