Kindly flip the coin for a brighter understanding of life :)Where you’re residing, the light is always clicked on. Maybeit does not feel intriguing enough to venture out of the room to click onceiling lights in rooms located nearby. You never know what your eyes can meetout there. You never know what your mind can perceive. It’s worth leaving asidethe comfort of resting slackly in well-known rooms.
We harbor innumerable beliefs and perceptions. Mainly, weintimately cling to our findings of reality. We refuse to believe in otherwisebecause, simply, we have proofs supporting what paces back and forth in ourhectic minds. According to the idealistic procedures put for a customer servicestaff, for example, you may, accordingly, adopt ideal expectations of humaneperformances; you may choose overrated dissatisfaction; a feeling generated byyour idealistic understanding of how things should go at the other end of thecounter. IF you, however, had the chance to join the team, twig how helplessyou can be in front of an aware customer. IF you have been shoved into asituation where a customer is phoning you through a reception telephone withnoisy ringtones, a customer tapping indignantly on a wooden counter, and a queueof people rolling their eyes in exasperation, you may, to an extent, changeyour view, drastically at times. You may even, the next time you deal with aC.S representative, gladly wait for hours, simply because now you have a notionof how occupied he or she can be.
The home-coming parent, the one you expect to slump down andlisten to how cranky your friend made you. The already-frustrated sibling, theone you expect to not snap at your tinged-with-frustration bossing around. These people, undertaking worldly burdens and concerns have to be understood. You can either choose to stand in for them for a day or two to get an idea ofwhy they trudge back home with hunched shoulders and arms swinging limply orsimply grasp the emotional and mental depletion that they encounter. Theeye-opening insights that can come rushing to your mind when you viewsituations and perspectives from different angles can simply stretch your mind, providing it with a more comprehensive understanding of situations.
You know how dark parts of wide maps come to the light whenyou send your troops over there while playing a strategic game. It mentally isthe same when you discover life, when you experience the ‘’ AH-HA!’’ moment.Things come to a view; you no longer have a mental frame limiting you fromseeing whatever is extraneous to the frame. You no longer feel crippled bystrictly rooted views disallowing your unbiased interpretation of what you donot approve or believe in.
Life is a mental thrill. It really is! Take enough time toobserve life, people, and happenings reoccurring. Take down mental notes. Moldyour own understanding but always leave your mind’s back door ajar for furthermodifications. If you think of something in a fixed way, why don’t you summonyour courage to embrace different angels? For a given period of time, work, receive criticism, fume, go wander down dark alleys and see how cruel it makesthe homeless feel, observe how it would’ve been different if you had lessunderstanding parents, wear nameless shirts and experience the overt insecurityyou are going to feel due to the absence of social recognition, or embracewhatever is capable of changing you and your tightly glued views.
Give your mind a boost; tug at its sides tooverstretch it! Give it an edge, a superior ability to embrace differences andperceptual complexities
