Kitna Chain Hota Hai Na Sachchai Mein :)

"Whatever you do, whatever you become remember this, be honest with your hands and strong with you pants", my grand-mother often told me whenever we enjoyed leisure in the luxury of our ancestral house, beneath a strongly grounded oak tree.
Age does make people wiser. My father was very passionate about shooting videos. Yes, we had the luxury of owing a camera of our own in those days! Like every other parent now-a-days, he too was very fond of shooting my stupidity (Also known as cuteness) in his reel. In one of the videos, I had taken a cheese cube from the fridge and as soon as my mom saw me in the kitchen, she asked me what was I doing there. In the video, I can be seen mumbling, "No, I didn't come in the kitchen to eat cheese" even without her asking me if I have cheese in my hand! We are this innocent in our childhood!
This one experience that I would like to share with you goes back to the time when I was in class 11th. Right after the burden of 10th boards, I had just entered into what they say, 'junior college'. Different people, different culture and a all together different perception of Higher Secondary life where education didn't have the top most priority of-course. Blame it on the age, but wooing boys of the class and seniors was the coolest thing to do! Hanging out at the nearest stalls (Kids are always short of money to go to a fancy cafes and restaurants), making fun of teachers, bunking classes, making scrap books, planning pranks, trying to look good, etc. was the sole agenda of my life every morning. But hey, where was studies? No where!
So after fine first few months came exams and then results. As expected, I had a red line in my score card for the first time in my life. I failed in three subjects! For the first few days I didn't tell my parents. Eventually, I realized that I had to. I rather than telling them my marks, made a fake mark-sheet with the help of my computer savvy friend. My parents easily trusted me but I was cursed with sleepless guilty nights then on. I worked really hard for my finals and when my parents saw my final mark-sheet, they were really happy. However, I still couldn't share their happiness. I decided to tell them the truth on the following evening. I dropped them a note where I wrote everything and apologized and went to my classes. When I came back, the note was not where I had kept. It meant they had read it. But they didn't even talk about the same at all till date! They behaved perfectly normal with me as if nothing had happened. However, without their words I knew I was forgiven.
Rightly said, kitna chain hota hai sachchai mein. :) The following video by Kinley depicts the exact same story. Do give it a watch: This post is a part of Happy Hour activity by Kinley in association with Indiblogger.  Kitna chain hota hai na sachchai mein :) Kitna chain hota hai na sachchai mein :) Kitna chain hota hai na sachchai mein :) Kitna chain hota hai na sachchai mein :) Kitna chain hota hai na sachchai mein :) Kitna chain hota hai na sachchai mein :) Kitna chain hota hai na sachchai mein :)
