Lazy Sunday - Having Fun with Lush

Posted on the 24 November 2012 by Mk1005 @MetroMoneypit

Lazy Sunday - a weekly column where I discuss my favorite lazy day indulgences - movies, television shows, books and music.
So with work and Thanksgiving and shopping and lots of other things going on this week I had hardly any time to be lazy. I didn't discover any new movies or finish any good books and my beloved Ben and Kate is still waiting for me on the DVR. But rather than ignore you guys completely I thought I'd share with you one of my favorite new products - Fun by Lush.

A few weeks ago I went to a media event at the Lush location in Santa Monica and was introduced to this new product. Basically, it's a tube of soap that you can mold any way you want. Perfect for the kiddos!

I was a bit wary to try it as...well...I'm a grown up. But try it I did and I love it! You can use the soap to wash your hair and body. That's just what I've been doing for the past few weeks and I've gotten multiple compliments. It smells so good that I've had people ask me what perfume I'm wearing!

Fun comes in 5 color/scent combos - pink/ice cream, red/orange-mandarin, blue/lavender-chamomile, green/lemon-lime, and yellow/vanilla-gardenia. And, as with all Lush products, it's fresh and handmade. AND a portion of the sales are put into a FunD that will aid children in need. Can't get much better than that! Oh, and it's only $6.95. Perfect price for a stocking stuffer!
full disclosure: I was provided with my very own Fun in order to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.
