Now don’t panic, but today is exactly one month until Christmas. And technically, as you’re reading this, there’s less than a month for you to get ready.
Okay, take a deep breath. I have some good news, too.
If you have any girls (or boys who don’t care about gender stereotypes) on your shopping list, you might as well check them off now.
I have two syllables for you Fro-zen.
If you don’t believe me, then consider the fact that, this year, for the first time ever, Barbie was booted from the top of the National Retail Federation’s “Top Toys” survey. True, the survey has only been around 11 years, but guess who took her place.
If you guessed anything other than “Frozen,” you’re wrong.
So how popular is the “Frozen”?
Well, the survey found that 20 percent of parents plan on purchasing “Frozen” merchandise. That’s one out of five, and apparently that’s enough to leave Barbie out in the cold (get it?).
Okay, now for the bad news…again. You now have even less time to get ready for Christmas. Get to it!
