Lion Guard Hyena’s Hide Out Playset Review

Posted on the 03 February 2017 by Mummysspace @mmeeee
The Lion Guard on Disney Jr is a firm favorite when it comes to TV shows in this house. The kids love the adventures of Kion, his friends Bunga the honey badger, Beshte the hippopotamus, Fuli the cheetah and Ono the egret as they set out on adventures to keep the Pride Lands safe and protected from animals who do not respect the Circle of Life. The lion Guard is based on The Lion King and the lion cub Kion who is the main character is the son of King Simba and Queen Nala.
It is no surprise therefore that there was lots of excitement when the Lion Guard Hyena's Hide Out Playset arrived for review.

Putting the Lion Guard Hyena’s Hide Out Playset to the Test

I love the fact that this playset is compact (aka easy to store which is a big parenting bonus) yet big on features and surprises that means while it might be mini, the adventures are big at this creepy Hyena Hide Out.

The twins have loved playing and discovering all the different parts to it, they love how you pull down on a branch to close the bone jaw jail and then pull down on another branch to launch the destructive boulder and keep enemies at bay.

We have had serious excitement when the kids discovered what happens when the boulder collides with the tree as the tree breaks apart on impact and if the boulder rolls in the other direction and the teetering rock bridge collapses. They have definitely learned about cause and effect from playing with this.

I can honestly say that the twins never get tired of launching the boulder. We also love the mini articulated Janja figure, I just wish there was two of them to avoid the arguing over who gets to take him everywhere with us.
