Here I am again buried in snow, waiting for a horrible wave of extreme cold. As I type, the thermometer shows outside 14 F (-9C) and it's barely 8.pm. They say tonight the temperatures will collapse to 1 F (-20 C). I am panicked and despaired for so many reasons: my pets, the chickens, the car (that doesn't start if it's too cold, and thus my boyfriend can't get to work), the snow that, I understand, will fall again tomorrow and will probably cover again the path that we tried so hard to clear.
Anyway, during my desperate search for the weather prognosis, I ran into an astonishing website http://seasidepropertiesgroup.com, that changed my entire perspective on life. I usually don't like answering the question "what if?", but this time I couldn't help of wonder..."what if we lived in a place with no winter". What if we lived in south Florida in one of those incredibly beautiful and exotic Sunny Isles condos or the luxury oceanfront condos at One Bal Harbour . I can almost imagine the smell of the ocean, the warm summer breeze caressing your skin, walking barefoot in the cool sand, oh, it sounds like another world to me. I would give away in a heartbeat my magical, but cruel winters, for a luxury oceanfront condominiums in Bal Harbour, Florida. He he, diving in the ocean instead of diving in the snow :). But enough with the day dreaming, I should get back to my snow shovel...
