We are well into the fall television season, and so far, it’s been a surprising one.
I’m not referring to the new shows. Although, there have been some good additions.
I’m also not referring to any plot twists in our old favorite shows. Although there have been plenty of those.
No, what I’m referencing is the fact that all the shows are still here. Not one new show has gotten the axe…yet.
Usually, by this point in the season, at least or young, hopeful tv show has gotten canceled after only airing the pilot.
Of course, there are the obvious successes. Fox’s “Gotham” will be renewed. ABC’s “Blackish” has already been picked up for a half season.
But there hadn’t been any blood spilt. Which sounds like a good thing, but for those of us who have experience with our new favorite being taken to the gallows…it just prolongs the agony.
So, on that note, enjoy your new shows for now…just know that each show could be their last.
