But I did manage to snap a few very rushed photos in the hotel on Saturday morning and so those will be my outfit photos for this week!
This outfit was what I wore for our second day in Peppa Pig world, and is pretty reflective of the kind of thing I'd wear for most family days out.
It is comfortable, suitable for doing lots of walking, and the layers make it weather-friendly....the kimono top is easy to take off and stuff into my bag if the weather gets too hot but it's nice to have the extra layer option.
Kimono's are my biggest fashion love affair right now for 3 reasons:
1) Bingo wing coverage 2) Hiding a multitude of other sins such as belly flab, back fat, and extreme cleavage 3) They go with pretty much anything and jazz up even the dullest of outfits with minimum effort!
Oh and another major plus point is that they are SO bloody comfortable!
This Kimono is one of about 5 that I have bought in the last month or so, I am seriously addicted to the things.
I'm a bit worried as about 3 summers ago I decided coloured jeans were the best thing ever and bought a pair in every imaginable color...those are now tucked firmly away at the back of the wardrobe never to be seen again, so I can only hope I don't change my mind on the kimonos too!
I love the white jeggings because they're just a bit different to the usual dark coloured leggings or dark denim, and they brighten up the outfit.
The layered hem top is handy for being out and about with a toddler, as you know its long enough to cover your modesty should you need to keep bending over to pick them up!
This is absolutely one of my favorite all-occasion outfits at the moment, I love it!
