Masala House is a two-floor casual dining restaurant in Sunder Nagar. This is in one of the posh colonies in South Delhi. Though it is a casual dining it has a deep touch of fine dining in its dishes, ambiance, decor, and service. The quality of preparation is extremely good. So is the presentation. There are many signature dishes that you might not find anywhere else. This is a must visit place do have a different kind of satisfying experience. Most of the days in the week there is waiting. The crockery is worth noticing as it is unique and classic. Dishes are more than pieces of art. So is their presentation. No wonder if you fall in love with some of the dishes at first sight without even touching or tasting those. It is like a symphony by Mozart. The credit goes to the chef.

All the starters I am about to mention are fabulous. We had Dora Kebab, Anarkali Tikki, Murg Luqmi, Kathal Varqui, Asparagus Paddu, Silbatte Ki Shammi (Shami Kebab), and Kataifi Achari Arbi. Each dish is unique in presentation and taste at Masala House. It was, in fact, as if beautiful models walking on-ramp in a high-class fashion show. Serving Dora Kebab is an art. You need to witness it to experience it, in fact. It is Mutton Kebab dish coming in a slightly different manner. They don’t use any cutlery to serve it. Anarkali Tikki is Beetroot dish that is quite tasty. Kathal Varqui is a signature dish and is good to have. Asparagus Paddu is a light dish yet quite powerfully addictive. Kataifi Achari Arbi is another classic signature dish and a showstopper as they call in a fashion show.

Masala House Is A Must Relish Dining Experience

In the main course, we had Palak Moti, Dum Ki Daal, Amritsari Wadi Tarkari, Rawa Meen Moiley, Monge Wala Tamateri Kukkad, Dum Biryani, Chur Chur Naan, and Appam. Appam goes well with Rawa Meen Moiley. Palak Moti is a fabulous experience in the vegan section at Masala House. Dum Ki Daal might be a little spicy for some. Amritsari Wadi Tarkari is a Lotus stem dish. Chicken dish and Mutton Biryani are also a good choice for nonvegetarians. Finally, in desserts, we had Gulukand Phirni and Gajar Halwa Kunafa. The latter is again something to relish and experience in person.

Now, there is an improvement point for Masala House management. To differentiate between two iced Lemon Teas one without sugar and other with sugar on the same table, please adopt a different color straw mechanism. This will help your servers to serve the right one to right person. Once there is a mechanism in place it will take just a one-time small training to your staff. But that will avoid many embarrassing moments in front of your customers. Overall, Masala House is an experience in itself. And any food enthusiast must gain this experience in order to enjoy the exxcellent quality of food here. I think nothing will disappoint you.
