I've been using this brow product for more than 3 months now and I'm so excited to share my little secret to perfect brows. It instantly became a staple in my everyday kikay kit since then. I use the Maybelline Fashion Brow Duo Shaper in Brown. Initially, they come in two shades, Light Brown and Brown then this August they will be releasing two more shades!
Here are some of my favorite Maybelline products for a quick eyebrows and eyeslashes fix. I'll talk more about the Lash Sensational and brow mascara in separate posts soon but this is my basic kit for my eyebrows.
Maybelline Fashion Brow Duo Shaper in Brown
It's a dual ended pen. One is a creamy wax retractable brow pencil for defining while the other tip is a small soft sponge for blending and filling-in the eyebrows with powder (which is in the cap - pretty genius!).
You only need 2 steps in achieving natural looking brows with Maybelline Fashion Brow Duo Shaper:
1. DEFINE / SHAPE
With the 0.2mm micro lead pencil, it mimics the natural hair of your eyebrows to easily shape and define the brows to beautifully frame your face. Use small strokes and gradually add more when needed.
TIP: Use it gently as it is a soft pencil and can easily get broken or cut when you retract it too much.

2. BLEND / FILLThe brown cap contains the mineral powder, then sing the other end of the duo shaper which is the soft sponge applicator, fill in the gaps and blend the eyebrow powder and pencil to make it look softer and more natural. I suggest to concentrate on the start to the middle of your eyebrows to leave the detail a little more defined.
Here is a BEFORE (left) & AFTER (right)Some eyebrow pencils are too harsh when used making your eyebrows look too strong and unnatural. What I really like with the Fashion Brow Duo Shaper, your brows will look softer and more natural plus it lasts for up to 12 hours without smudging nor fading. Based on my experience, it lasts on me the whole day - more than 12 hours and my brows still look pretty decent before I remove my makeup and go to bed.
