I know how much you guys loved one of the best selling lipstick collection by Maybelline, . I've experienced how Touch of Spice has been sold out for countless months in almost all Maybelline counters nationwide, being the most favorite shade by most girls from the collection.
Now they recently launched another lipstick collection that you guys will surely be interested to try! The First ever lightweight Matte Lipstick, The Powder Mattes!
The Powder Mattes has 15 gorgeous shades, you have wide selection of colors to match your look, skin tone, and outfit.
Packaging is almost the same with the rest of the Maybelline Color Sensational line, it's just they are slightly matte. The color of the tube cap depends on the shade range - nudes, reds, pinks.

Texture & Finish
Powder mattes are powdery smooth. It feels like the result whenever you do the Tissue + Powder technique on top of your lipstick = Powdery Matte. Smooth and easy to apply.
Formula
It feels very lightweight on the lips, like you're not wearing any lipstick. Great for everyday wear.
Pigmentation
Not pigmented as the creamy mattes. I think their goal to make these lipsticks lightweight and powdery smooth, the pigmentation suffered a little. Though they are very easy to apply, you need to work on a few layers to achieve the opacity that you want. For dark colors like Up to Date (Pink) and Get-Red-dy (Red), they are more pigmented than the rest of the shades.
Longevity
In fairness with the lipsticks, even if they are not that pigmented, I find them long-lasting. Even if I eat, my lips are still stained and I'm not bothered if I won't be able to retouch my lipstick right away.

Overall, for those who like lightweight lipsticks with smooth powdery finish, you can try this one. But if you're someone that put product pigmentation on top of their priority list in choosing a lipstick, then you can give this one a pass and get any shade from the creamy mattes instead. I think the selling point of these lippies is even if they lack on pigmentation, they don't feel heavy on the lips even if you layer them more than your usual routine with lipsticks.

This is not the first time that Maybelline will be working with Kelsey Meritt as she was already given the opportunity to shoot a Maybelline commercial alongside the ultimate Maybelline and hottest IT girl, Gigi Hadid in New York.
