…meet in the middle

This week we find ourselves in that strange seasonal gap between the unofficial end of summer, Labor Day, and the actual first day of autumn, September 22 (i.e. next Friday).

It also happens to be the week between the Creative Arts Emmy Awards and the Primetime Emmy Awards telecast next Sunday, coincidentally, but more on that later this week…

On the subject of seasons, I respect that some out there are clinging to their sun, shorts, and that summer feeling.

Don’t mind me…

I’ll just be over here breaking out the sweaters, Halloween decorations, and all things pumpkin…

…meet in the middle

While I count down the days until it’s socially acceptable to start blasting the Christmas carols, of course…

…meet in the middle

If you’re dragging your heels through these last days of summer, I understand…

…meet in the middle

There’s a lot to love about the season. The warmer, longer days, the time outdoors…

…meet in the middle

But fall has its charms too…

…meet in the middle

In the meantime, I wish you all a fantastic week and a happy (almost) autumn…

…meet in the middle
