Meeting Jack Frost

Posted on the 07 December 2012 by Ileodarod @ilevillegas
As I'm from Mindanao, I am well-aware of the Typhoon Pablo last Monday. Iligan, the previous city I lived in, is very wary of the storm. As Pablo is described as bigger and stronger than last year's Sendong, everyone was panicking when they found out that the storm will pass directly over the city. True enough, Pablo brought heavy rain fall that caused rivers to overflow. But to everybody's relief, the flood wasn't as devastating as Sendong's. People were able to evacuate on time and there were no casualties.
Cebu, on the other hand, only experienced minimal rainfall. It left the road outside my boarding house all muddy though. There was no way I can wear my usual shoes. And I just had to go out and watch Rise of the Guardians! Thank goodness, I have my trusty wedge sneakers.
Meeting Jack FrostPaired it with leggings, denim shorts and a long fitting top, and I'm good to go!
Ok fine. I admit. We're in the Philippines and normally, people won't wear something like this. But this is sorta like my personal style so bear with me.

I love this bag! I got it from the ukay-ukay two years ago and I always use it when I only have to bring my my phone, keys, and a wallet.

I can't smile when doing outfit posts anymore. Wanna know why? The formula is simple. This angle + chubby cheeks + big smile = me looking really fat.

Somebody borrowed my umbrella and although it wasn't raining when I went out, at least I have this bonnet from Artwork to cover my head just in case it does. This was originally owned by my friend Ane, but I accidentally brought it to Cebu with me.

I can now smile with this angle.. harharhar!

Make-up is very minimal. I don't want to look like a panda if ever it pours down really hard.

Random water bottles that I saw after the movie. They are sooo cute, I just had to buy them! (The only cost P5 each anyway and I was thirsty) They refract light beautifully, making me think of the ice patterns from Jack Frost's staff.
Have you seen the movie? As for me, I LOVED IT!
Thanks for reading my blog!
PS.
Hype please?
