After months of trying to teach her, B1 has started actually giving me kisses when I ask for them. She also thinks it is hilarious when she does. I will say “kisses,” pursing my lips at her and she will lean in slowly, kiss me then jump back and laugh. It is adorable. I am going to take as many of these as I can get, as I know there will come a time when she will be too embarrassed to kiss her mummy as it will not be the cool thing to do. But for now, every single kiss melts my heart.
For a while now B2 is amazed when his mummy and daddy cuddle or kiss. It is quite funny to watch. Every time my hubby comes home and gives me a cuddle and a kiss hello, I will peek around his shoulder and sure enough there will be B2 watching us with an embarrassed smile on his face. Then when we both turn to look at him he laughs and looks down to his feet then up at us from under his brow. On the weekend this happened as usual, but I then asked, “Do you want to cuddle too?” Sure enough he ran over and hugged mine and hubby’s legs tight and snuggled his face into us. It was adorable. Melt!!
So I know that’s two melting moments from me this Monday, but hey, I do have twins so I’m allowed right?!
