Mime

MIMEMIME
I don't know when will I stop complaining about the Philippine weather but again, I'm going to remind myself and everyone else that temperature here sucks. The fact that I wanted to wear black all the freaking time is so frustrating because it just makes me feel more uncomfortable and uneasy given that I live in the Philippines and it's summer season. And oh, thank goodness someone invented camis and cropped tops. They are a total life saver in this life-sucking weather that I am (and everyone in the Philippines) currently at.
Speaking of cropped tops, I found this black and white striped cropped top on the bottom of my closet. I was running out of appropriate tops that time that I dug my closet all the way down and found good old pieces of clothing. I know we all have experienced that little happiness when we suddenly find old clothes (that we sometimes thought they got lost) and that are still worth wearing.

Since mime is considered to be one of the earliest forms of self-expression, well in my case, I did have a lot of self-expression with this outfit. One is that being a fan of monochrome, black and white stripes are part of the aesthetics that please me.

Didn't really plan to dress myself as a mime but I guess I'll play along with it since I kinda looked like one. Haha! In fact, I attended an event during this day with my boyfriend Ram on a Mechanical Keyboard Meetup. If you aren't familiar with mech keyboards, well, they're basically high-end keyboards that have way better user experience when you type on them since the keys are built with special springs and switches. The meetup was composed of mostly boys and three girlfriends (including myself) and each of them brought their favorite mechanical keyboards for everyone to try out. Even though I am not as geeky as my boyfriend is, I did learn to love mechanical keyboards for they are certainly worthy to be loved. I am even planning to get myself one in the future even though it normally costs half of my salary. Lol.
