Hi blogging world!
How goes it? I’ve missed you all terribly but I have also really loved my little hiatus. It has given me the head space I needed to think a few things through and figure out what to do with business ideas and blogging and the fact that 24 hours in any given day doesn’t seem to be enough.
I basically figured out that when it came to blogging I was constantly compromising on my posts. I have a bunch of things I really want to write about but all require research and research takes time and I just feel I don’t have it. So in the end I’d sacrifice the research piece for something I can post in less than hour and while sometimes this was good and it was fun, I was never really reaching the goal I had in my own mind.
So, where to from here?
I will still be blogging – HOORAY! – but not as regularly as before. I will aim for once per week but we’ll see how we go. I might not even make that initially.
I might not get to read as many blogs either so if you are also a blogger and I normally read everything of yours then I’m sorry, it might not always be that way anymore. I will try but I can only try. I can’t promise anything more.
The thing I enjoyed the most about my break was the lack of pressure. I didn’t realize how much pressure I was putting on myself to either constantly write or read other blogs. It was a lot of pressure. Like a big ol’ weight of it sitting right on my head and making me slouch. A LOT. (which is always two words btw…if you are looking at A LOT and thinking it should be ALOT then think again. It’s never ALOT. It is always A LOT).

Anyway, the pressure thing. I need less of it. So I’m giving myself that gift. Less blogging + less reading = less pressure. We’ll see where it goes from here.
