I think utility jackets have a really cute classic/tomboy look to them that makes them transitional for different looks and anything from some heavy air conditioning to some seriously crisp weather, depending on what you layer them with. They also fold well so I love traveling with them! Here I am in a trusty utility jacket buying my Sign by Simon in New Orleans:

As you can see from the variance, the hardest thing about the jacket is keeping up with them! I am usually pretty good at keeping track of my favorite clothing items, but something about the jacket being so good for going everywhere and climates where you tend to peel layers. I knew I had to replace this wardrobe staple again this fall and there was a version I noticed and seriously had to have forever and ever. I immediately called my little sister and used my (dwindling) influence on her to Isn't it THE MOST?
So, so perfect and on trend but still a classic look. I am wearing my everywhere and love that it is roomy for added layers come cooler temps, but the drawstring and cut still keep it flattering.
