I had a friend round yesterday & she decided to have a quick look through some of my Sketchbooks from School. I had forgotten about a lot of this work but here it is…some of my fashion sketches as a fashion student.
Above 3rd year, Water-colour and pen
Of course when you are studying, you dont in fact get to create all of your designs (collections are limited in size) but i keep all the sketchbooks as a reference point for future, in case i ever look back and want to take inspiration or pieces and use them in a new collection. I did it here with the top, middle outfit; I used the idea 2 years later for the above (2nd from the left) suit, and I created it. I wore it myself to an even at Edinburgh Castle.
