My Need for Experiencing “Something New.”

Posted on the 06 April 2013 by Jamie Gall @50states50wines

During the Ulitmate Blog Party I ran into an old bloggy friend, “Create With Joy.”

Every Friday, she runs a great link up entitled, “Friendship Friday.”  She reminded me of this great link up.  Link ups are always a GREAT way to meet new bloggers you may not have met before so I thought I’d give it a whirl.

Each week she chooses a new topic for you to write about: this week’s topic was “something new.”

And that’s when I realized my world’s were colliding.  One of the major reasons I love going on so many explorations around town is because I’m kind of an adrenaline junkie for trying out new things.  I get such a rush.  It’s like the child in me still gets those big eyes, and that excitement fills up inside, and frankly, I’m addicted to that feeling. Ha.  You learned something new about me ;0

But, she wanted to know when was the last time I tried something new so I thought it would be neat to make a list of things I’ve tried “new” since moving out to LA.

*Oysters

*Lobster

*Crawfish

*Snails

*Flan

*Panna Cotta

*Going to San Francisco

sanfrancisco

*Going to San Diego

*Going to Temecula

*Knott’s Berry Farm

*Griffith Observatory

*Hollywood Blvd

*The Getty

You get it, since moving to a new place, it has lifted my adventurous side, and I feel as if I’m always trying something new and feeding my addiction.

The next few things on my list include:

Attending a Food Blogger Conference

Attending a Photo Show

Attending a Wine Carriage Ride one night

Going to Catalina Island

And much, much more.   My mind is always thinking of “what’s the next new experience I can try.”

Hope you enjoyed.
