I saw a shooting star in the sky,And wondered what to ask for me,
-Money, Fame, Success, Love!
Money and Fame made me Work hard for my life,
The more I worked, the more I seemed to want more,
But everything else suffered because of me.
Love I found is scarce these days,
People now-a-day live in the Jet age,
Love for them is a Big Word,
But seldom one understands the meaning.
So I closed my eyes again to ask for something more,
A tear fell from my eye,
Realizing that I had wasted my whole life,
Getting what I never wanted in the first place to begin with.
When I think about it now all I wanted was,
Some happiness and some life to my being,
But I still have a few years to look ahead,
And those, I am never gonna loose.
