For the first time, a nonmilitary president has won the elections there. National League for Democracy came into power in last year’s elections. And Aung San Suu Kyi is the first president of democratic Myanmar. For a long time, we knew it as Burma. It is a small country in Southeast Asia with plenty of natural beauty. Within a year, there has been a tremendous change in this country.

In fact, for the first time Myanmar is welcoming tourists from all across the globe. As a matter of fact, it was not possible until last year because of the military regime. For all these years the country has been in isolation from the entire world. But now it is a charming location for tourism.
