New Year New Hair!

Posted on the 06 January 2014 by Thandi @sassymissy
Happy New year my lovlings!!! This is my first post this year. whooopppiiiiiiiiiii whop! how awesome...this will be the third year of my humble blog and i'm still learning new things about the world of blogging everyday.
Well I look forward to another fun filled year of sharing my experiences and knowledge with you!
.....OK so to my actual post for todaySo before my cousins returned to the US, they managed to finally convince me to transit 100% to natural hair. My biggest fear was THE BIG CHOP! i had beautiful long relaxed hair, but at the scalp level, a beautiful Afro was growing strong. i realized that the relaxed bits above were just dead hair that prevented the proper healthy growth of my hair. So yes #teardrop, i did make the big decision to chop off my top layer relaxed hair. It was honestly a bit depressing holding my long hair in my hands....#Moreteardrops... okay i'll spare you all the emotional stuff.well right now i'm honestly scared cause I've never had to handle my seriously thick Afro. I've been reading websites after websites, loads of you tube videos. and they've been great help (^_^).  I'm wanting to use 100%  natural home made products on my hair, with recipes i create myself. I've been doing loads of research as i say, so i'll combine the ideas i find plus include my own too, to aid my new Natural hair in this scary journey!
I'm dedicating a new blog Label to my hair journey. Sharing what works and what doesn't!
New Year New Hair!
I did Yarn twists emidiately after i had the big chop so unfortunately i dont have a picture of the shorter hair but i promise to put one up when i take the twists out. My aunt did the twists for moi and i'm loving them!New Year New Hair!
kisses.Thandixo
