blue sky clear
summer’s gone
autumn’s near
feeling some kinda way here
it’s not the same here
did I make a mistake and leave there?
silent whispers in my ear
looking back in my rear
a false move to hard to bear
pronounced sounds so loud
clouded judgment as I move around
blessings abound, family surrounds
but no one around just to hear me out
a fistful of tears
weeks to months feel like years
no one here to feel my fear
heartbroken in des pair
blue sky ever clear
my summer’s gone
my autumn’s near
memories remain in my rear
not the same here as it was back there
