But opportunity never waits! Recently there was a 'charity' trend of #NoShaveNovember in obviously, November. All men proudly stood up to it and thanked the trend-setter because now they finally had an excuse to not shave and still look trendy! Sure, stubble has made a crazy entry to 'hot men's' world, but not many men have left this opportunity to exploit this fad and have gone grossly wrong! Let me confess, stubble IS sexy. But dear men, it is stubble, not a whole lot hair on your face; and that requires shaving it smart!
Before someone calls me sexist because ofcourse it is a man's wish as to how he wants to be, let me put the disclaimer: It is equally women's forte to decide whether she'd like to adore those hair or not. ;) With a women like me, things could really go wrong! Not that am allergic to facial hair, but most men I've come across do not know how to maintain them.
I would share this small incident that happened with me. At my first job as a news anchor at regional news channel, I was showered with compliments on my first performance appraisal. Very soon, I was given the task to select news anchors for an upcoming business show. I was on the selection panel for interviewing and auditions. We were looking for two male anchors. After interviewing some five of them, I asked them to join us for lunch (best ice-breaker!) and planned to continue with their audition after that. One of the anchors sported smart beard. After lunch, I rushed to production room and asked the camera-man to start their auditions. As soon as the anchor with beard came on screen, I was left aghast! The daal we had for lunch was sticking on this beard and was grossly visible on camera!
Though I didn't judge him on the basis of this incident, but it did leave a bad impression. So when you can't maintain your beard clean, dear men, please #WillYouShave?
