Organization Highlight: Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA)

On Modern Library's 100 Best Novels, The Readers' List, Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game comes in at a respectable position at #59 accompanying modern, literary marvels like George Orwell's 1984, J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, and Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird. Featured prominently on Ender's Game's current trade paperback cover is an emblem revealing it as a winner of the Nebula Award, described by Lotus Magazine as the Oscars of the science fiction/fantasy genre.  This Nebula Award, a prestigious accolade among science fiction and fantasy writers, is presented by Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America annually.  The purpose of this segue is to establish credibility and significance for an admirable organization that provides a number of tools and resources for writers and upstart publishers.
