Here we are again, another “Star Wars” film premiere. Last night millions, of fans flocked to the theaters to be among the first to see the film. Today, they’re basking in the afterglow of what’s being hailed as the greatest film in the series to date. For those of us who haven’t seen the film yet, these individuals are basically a ticking, spoiler bomb.
To those who’ve seen the film, it’s nothing personal. We know that buried underneath all that spoiler potential is an actual person. We’re happy for you, and we hope you enjoyed the film. Now go far, far away to discuss it with others who have seen it.
To those who haven’t seen the film yet, the next few hours and/or days will be difficult. From now until we’re able to make it to the movie theater every social interaction will be meticulously calculated as to avoid potential spoilers. We can get through this together. Just stay away from Twitter and people.
In conclusion, to those who haven’t seen “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” this is a safe space, until next Friday. To those who have seen it, no spoilers, please.
