Greetings earthlings. LOL. Been away from this blog for about 2 weeks plus now cause I was lazy. Well 3 weeks ago there was the annual campus election. I actually did a post on it, updated it daily during the election period, but then I decided to just leave it cause what’s written in it is merely my own thoughts and of what I heard from the people around me. I don’t wanna create any controversy or stuff so better play safe for now. I might just complete that post and publish it someday.
2 weeks ago was mid semester break for me but I didn’t return home. I spent the first 5 days of mid semester break in campus. Well I only had 5 days of break then industrial visit with my course mates and Career Fair 2015 workshop after. On my last day of break (Wednesday), WC took me out on our very first got-dress-properly date. Haha. He took me to Stone Age Cafe & Restaurant located at Bukit Mertajam. One of his course mate left his car with WC to jaga so he had car to take me out on a date. LOL.
I have to say that it is now one of my favorite makan place in mainland Penang. Haha. Their specialty is stone grilled meals. And the price so reasonable. If in KL 2 person eat sure exceed RM100. So that day I had venison and WC had lamb, and the total bill was RM60+ jer. The ambiance of the restaurant is really cozy and comfy. Suitable for gatherings or dates I guess. Haha. Aiya can makan can already. Picture below! First time wearing floral dress. Haha. I guess boyfriends like their girlfriends to wear dress just like how mothers like their daughters to wear dress.

Oh and I really wanted dessert. But the dessert that Stone Age offer only ice cream. So normal. So we went to this dessert place somewhere around the area to eat dessert. How can a date end without dessert kan. Haha. I forgot what’s the name of the dessert shop but there were so many kinds of dessert! I wanted to try everything. But of course impossible lah to try everything within one trip. So I settled down with this mango soup dessert that has sago, glutinous rice balls, mango fruit and maybe some other stuff which I forgot. Haha. And WC said he’ll bring me there again next time so I could try other desserts so yay!
And then we balik campus. LOL.
On Thursday and Friday my Mineral Resources Engineering course had an industrial visit to Rahman Hydraulics Tin Sdn Bhd. Don’t know why need 2 days lah cause we spent like 6 hours on the first day and 3 hours on the second day in Rahman Hydraulics Tin Sdn Bhd. Could have cramped everything in one day to save one day. Cause the other times we were not at Rahman Hydraulics Tin Sdn Bhd it was so boring. We stayed in one of the rooms in Ulu Legong Hot Springs. On the first night I went to soak my legs for a bit cause I didn’t bring enough pants. Haha. First time experiencing hot spring. It was fun, I wanna try soaking myself one day.

On the second day of industrial visit, I had fever. I assumed it was because I didn’t sleep well the previous night – 7 people had to squeeze on 1 queen size bed and 1 single bed. Another possibility is that I got soaked on Wednesday evening cause WC and I went cycling then it rained. So yeah I was sick and didn’t really focus on day 2 of industrial visit. Furthermore, I was like a tofu and didn’t attend the Career Fair 2015 Workshop which was from Friday night till Sunday night. Took panadol and slept a lot and I got well pretty quick. Also thanks to Dr. WC lah. Haha. He made sure I ate clean and said he’ll treat me pizza if I got well quick.
And well last week was just usual classes. On Monday we had this sudden quiz for Mineral Deposits. I just did the best that I could lo. One of the question even got to draw world map and show the locations of porphyry copper deposits. Then on Wednesday the lecturer was ranting on how bad our quiz results were blah blah blah. He said the highest marks was 29/80. The average marks was 8/80. After class they were giving back the quiz papers then I saw a lot of 4/80 and 5/80 then I got a bit worried wondering what my marks will be. Then I saw my paper with a 27/80 on the top right corner! Haha. My good but not so good news of last week. Lol. Quite happy lah I got like one of the highest in class. But then 27/80 is not such a good mark also.
