Last week, I was one of the lucky bloggers who were invited to the launch of a famous skincare brand abroad. Thankful that it fell on my rest day from work and yeah, my dad was still here so he managed to teach me how to go there. The launch was held at Marriott Hotel Manila, The Den. And now I’m so proud to introduce to you, Paula’s Choice Philippines 
Me and Celline of Product Arena by Celline08 were there around 1:30pm. We waited and the event started at 2pm.
The event was held at Marriott Hotel’s The Den which looks like an exclusive meeting room 
There you can see Paula Begoun, the woman behind Paula’s Choice.
Let me tell you a short story about her. Paula used to work for a cosmetic brand, then one day, a customer wanted to buy a product from the brand she was affiliated with but when she tried it on her, it wasn’t so good so they go to another brand’s counter and recommended a different product. Of course, as a sales person she was in trouble with her boss but she thinks she had just done the right thing to do right? Why recommend a product to a person if it’s not good for her? Then to make the story short, since she’s very knowledgeable to beauty, she was encouraged to have her own brand for skincare and cosmetics, hence the birth of Paula’s Choice in 1995.
Paula’s Choice is now present is 53 countries. Paula also has written 30 Books in total which sold 2.5 million copies. One of the bestsellers is “Don’t go to the cosmetic counter without me.“

She looks so young right? You actually won’t believe her age, I bet. Maybe you’re wondering why am I up on there with the microphone. While waiting for the others to arrive, we introduced ourselves to each other like what’s our blog, niche, etc. Then we went to the event proper.

Then, to show us how effective Paula’s Choice products are, here are the two products that we tested that day and saw the amazing effects right before our own eyes. Paula’s Choice Shine Stopper and Resist C15 Super Booster Vitamin C.
Here we tried Resist C15 Super Booster Vitamin C. I guess you already know where is the before and the after results right. On top at the upper right portion are two apples cute into quarter and left overnight. Then that day, Ms. Naree and Ms. Juvy applied Resist C15. In a matter of seconds, you see the results at the lower right portion. AMAAAAZINGGG isn’t it? 
That’s exactly how it also works for our skin.
On here we tried, Paula’s Choice Shine Stopper with Ms. Julia of Bless My Bag. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get a super duper clear photo of her both hands but you can see the results below.
I swear by this, the one with shine stopper really removes the oil at the back of her hand and the one without shine stopper (encircled) is obviously oily. Just with those two products that were tested for us, I’m totally amazed and I want their whole skincare range!
While discussing more about Paula’s Choice, we stuffed in our stomach with food. We were actually gonna pick, Chinese, Milk and Ice Cream, or Apples and Fruits but in the end, we ate and tasted all of them *laughs!*
Each of us gets our own Paula’s Choice product for review. What I got is Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid (their bestseller in all countries they are present). I will talk more about this in a separate post. By the way, this only costs P1,120.00 which is already affordable compared to other high-end brands here in the Philippines.
Paula’s Choice is also one of the favorite skincare brands of a famous and well-know makeup artist, Wayne Goss. I first heard about him from Celline of Product Arena and now, I’m addicted to his videos! You guys should definitely check him out too!
