Phonebooth Café Is Budget Friendly and Excellent Food Outlet

Phonebooth Café in GTB Nagar’s Hudson Lane is a unique concept. Its look is like a phonebooth. Starting a year-and-a-half back, the outlet is quite popular among college youth during the day. During dinner hours you will find families in place of youth. Though a table or two, you will still be able to locate college groups sitting, gosipping, having fun, and enjoying their favorite food. Phonebooth Café is Alok’s brainchild. Another outlet he has, with another name and a different concept in South Delhi. That is totally a boutique Pizza and Italian food concept while this is a budget friendly North Indian, Italian, Continental, Chinese, and Cafe. But keeping it budget friendly doesn’t compel him to compromise with quality or taste in any manner. In fact, the word compromise is not there in his dictionary. Rather, he knows well how to run two different worlds with perfection.

While at Phonebooth Café, Alok can’t keep high prices, thus he has to ensure a good volume of production and consumption. That he is already achieving with the help of regular innovations and experimentations with various cuisines and dishes. As a matter of fact, he agrees that with so many other restaurants around, there is a high competition. But then he enjoys challenges and taking a ride against the tide in an innovative style. I think Naanzza is his unique concept and is one of the signature dishes at Phonebooth Café. It is a combination of the concept of Naan and Pizza. In fact, it is a hybrid of North Indian and Italian dishes. But it is really tasty. In fact, I could not stop myself in grabbing one complete Naanzza which is good enough for two. Another signature innovative dish is Chinese Chat.

Phonebooth Café Offers Some Very Unique Dishes

I had both Naanzza and Chinese Chat for the first time at Phonebooth Café. Chinese Chat is momos with chicken balls and a good amount of masala. Both the ingredients – momos and chicken balls were delicious. Rather, I became fan of the masala too. There are a lot more similar kind of dishes to explore which I tasted but would not like to spoil their secrets by disclosing the suspense. After all, when you visit there, you must have something left to explore amidst having delicious food.
