It’s finally here fellow “Walking Dead” fans! Tonight sees the premiere of season 7 of the incredibly popular zombie series.
After the biggest cliff hanger in the show’s history, we finally find out the fate of our favorite characters (God willing).
Before I continue, I’d like to take a moment to issue an official SPOILER ALERT. If Lucille, Negan, and the Saviors don’t make you visibly wince, please proceed with caution…or not at all.
Okay, now that that’s out of the way, back to tonight’s much-anticipated premiere. Last season slowly introduced us to biggest baddie yet on “The Walking Dead” to date–Negan. However, he did not make his entrance until the final moments of the season 6 finale. It was one of the greatest character reveals on television…ever. I realize that’s a huge claim, but it really was that good.
The big question looming over many a “Walking Dead” fan for the last several months has been–who did Negan kill? After the creepiest game of “eenie meenie miney mo” ever, Negan landed on his first victim.
With 11 options, many theories have been shared and possibilities have been eliminated. For example, it’s fairly certain that Rick and Carl won’t bite it, at least not right away, based on Negan’s final words.
Other individuals are considered “safe” or “not so safe” based on leaked photos, videos, and social shares. That being said, I wouldn’t put it past the show’s producers to plant a few false leads to throw us off course.
No matter the outcome, we’ll finally know what’s next tonight. For now, enjoy these final few hours of wild theories and anticipation.
